Tesla, Inc. is an American multinational automotive company that now develops its own supercomputers to develop its own AI software which run its cars, and future Robots

Its base is headquartered in Austin, Texas. Tesla designs and manufactures electric vehicles, battery energy storage from home to grid-scale, solar panels and solar roof tiles, related products and services, and now mobile phones.

The man builds SpaceX rockets to Mars, a silly little smartphone should be easy, right?

Looking at specs updated as of December 2022 from Tesla, it comes with an impressive 8300 mAh Lithium-ion Polymer battery and a large 6.78 inch screen. Promoting it’s less need to recharge. With a good 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM allowing to use apps without hindrance.

Tech Specs

The processor is the MediaTek Helio G95 – MTK6785, Octa-Core (2x A76 [email protected] GHz + 6x A55 [email protected] GHz). Currently, the specs are not all that, a nice camera at 64 Megapixels (9280*6944), but just FHD video, no 4K.

With their other Series 3 phone aimed at being compact and slim, and for calls, I wouldn’t be surprised if this becomes the phone for his delivery staff.

So while a Tesla Pi 5G phone is likely to be around too, there’s also SpaceX’s Starlink satellite internet service, that the company could choose to connect (Elon Musk is the CEO of both).

Having either of these phones could allow unlocking the Teslar car with keyless mobile tech. And who knows how much the Twitter app will be integrated.

We have not seen the phone available anywhere at the moment, it’s not even listed on Tesla’s own store.

Will his Optimus AI Robot be available in 2023

With Elon Musk at the helm, he wants to utilise each part to the best of their capabilities. So this means the AI will not just operate vehicles, but humanoid robots and an add-on to mobile phones.

At the 2022 Tesla AI Day in September, Elon Musk gave the public its first look at his company’s prototype humanoid robot nicknamed Optimus.

He will build his own workforce, and he hopes that this newer version will one day be mass-produced and sold for around $20,000.

Other automakers, including Toyota Motor and Honda Motor, have developed humanoid robot prototypes.
