How I Used AI to Redesign My Home Office
”Basically, I started by taking a photo of my computer desk area and uploading it to Imagine AI. Then, I added keyword prompts for the type of décor I wanted, such as fitted shelves, white gloss, and cupboards. After several AI-generated images, I chose the ones that fit my vision the best.”
I was impressed with how quick and easy this method was compared to using a room designer, and the first thing I did was to seek a white desk.
I picked up the computer chair, desk, and shelves cheap on Facebook Marketplace.
The lights were £20 each from BandQ and The Range.
The blinds were ordered from B&Q and turned out cheaper than Blinds2go.
The Duvet sets and pillows are from Dunelm, up to you how much you spend on them. They often have reduced-price curtains on sale.
The paint was £20 each from B&Q.
Then I wanted to choose a colour for the bedroom, and for that, I searched Google images for red bedrooms to see some real-world creations that people lived in.
I also changed the plug sockets and light switch to rose gold versions.
The Audio soundproofing I ordered on eBay.
