Remix OS is a now-discontinued computer operating system for personal computers with x86 and ARM architectures that, prior to discontinuation of development, shipped with a number of 1st- and 3rd-party devices. Remix OS allowed PC users to run Android mobile apps on any compatible Intel-based PC.
We advise you use in a Virtual Box and avoid using main computer.
We tried the simple task of creating the USB boot, but it was the first to want us to disable BIOS settings. We did but then our computer would not boot and so changed the settings back.
Then we installed into virtual Box to see what it was like.
They encourage los of game apps, I guess they have some kind of affiliation with them. It is simple enough to uncheck all those not wanted.
We plan to evaluate and possibly install on a spare laptop which does not have touch screen.
The laptop is nicely running Linux Mint dual boot with windows 10. The linux is friendlier with not annoying the user during use.

Though there are many software systems such as Bluestack out there which help you use your android apps on PC, they hardly give you an Android like experience. But now, Jide Technology, a software company which came into existence in 2014 has come up with an Android based OS which is named Remix, can be installed on your PCs and laptops to give you a more realistic Android experience on your PCs and tablets.
The new OTA software update support makes sure that the users can rely on the OS for more daily activities without worrying about loss of data over new updates. With the release of the Beta version of the OS, Jide hopes to move faster towards the release of the stable version in the next few months.
