When Windows 10 first launched in 2015 Microsoft had very high hopes for its latest and greatest software. By November 2017 around 600 million devices were installed, this figure increased to 800 million earlier this year.
The US firm famously declared that it wanted to have one billion people using it within two to three years but their big dreams for this operating system didn’t come true.
The next Windows 10 update for 2019 has the codename 19H2, although not released yet, the American tech giant has already started releasing early versions for 2020, codenamed 20H1.
Things seem to be rapidly improving for Microsoft with the latest reports from NetMarlketShare suggesting Windows 10 now has a whopping 50 per cent share of the Microsoft market.
