On Tuesday, Nikon announced the P900's successor, which can zoom even further.

 

Digital Bridge cameras have been coming with 80x zoom , but this boasts an incredible 125x optical zoom is the world’s biggest.

 

The COOLPIX P1000 is equipped with a 125x optical zoom NIKKOR lens that covers the wide-angle 24mm to super-telephoto 3000mm focal lengths.

 

Giving a focal-length range of 24–3000mm equivalent in optical, but then with 250x Dynamic Fine Zoom on top to give an incredible 6000 mm.

 

Pros : Ultra-high zoom, vari-angl display, 4K video. Shhots raw (NRW) format.
Cons :
only 16MP, small sensor but this is common on Bridge Cameras.
